5th edition of the Digital Forum on Energy Systems Transformation

The forum will be coupled with a Gala celebrating the 110th anniversary of the AIEQ, with the presentation of STIQ awards.

EnergiQ 2nd edition at Paddock Montréal organized by INNOVÉE

The AIEQ will be a major partner, and this will be the opportunity to launch PASQÉ's 4th call for interest.
The aim is to bring together key players in the energy innovation industry to create synergy.
The event program includes conferences, exhibitions, networking sessions and social activities spread over three days around these 5 themes:
- Strategic sustainable procurement
- Smart buildings, smart cities and smart grids
- Integrating renewable energies into the energy mix of our societies
- Innovation in energy transition.
- Social acceptability

Energy Efficiency Symposium

This event will bring together all players in the energy efficiency value chain: suppliers and engineering firms, manufacturers and equipment suppliers. The symposium will showcase energy efficiency expertise, share best practices for structuring projects and enable business networking.
We will be unveiling the results of our study on the needs, challenges and opportunities of the energy efficiency ecosystem.

CIGRÉ - Espace Café & Rafraîchissements at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal

We'll be announcing the PASQÉ 2.0 recipients at the 5@7 cocktail reception on September 30.
The Symposium will bring together key international, regional and local players in the power grid sector: business leaders, grid operators, manufacturers, engineers, scientists, policy-makers, regulators and academics.
The latest trends and developments in the ever-changing energy sector will be discussed. This is a unique opportunity to strengthen your professional network and establish partnerships with speakers from all over the world.
This event is organized by the Canadian National Committee and replaces the annual CIGRÉ Canada event in 2025.

The day begins with a warm welcome over a networking breakfast, followed by opening remarks from our management.

Quantum Workshop Day with PINQ² - April 10

Following the workshop on AI and quantum technologies for the electrical industry at our Digital Transformation Forum, it was emphasized that artificial intelligence and quantum technologies are major current challenges.

Held at our premises in the SUN LIFE building in Montreal, the aim of this one-day event was to raise participants' awareness of classical and quantum technologies by addressing your specific issues and themes. With renowned experts such as IBM and Institut Quantique, as well as industrial players who have already initiated this transformation.

ESG leverage: a cohort mobilized for a more sustainable industry

Launched on October 8, 2024 and closing on February 18, 2025, the Levier ESG cohort, piloted by the AIEQ in partnership with COESIO and with the support of the Écoleader Fund, Hydro-Québec and Boralex, enabled six SMEs in the electricity sector to structure their ESG approach through customized coaching.

Over a five-month period, the participating companies - Moteurs Électriques Laval (MEL), Voltam Inc, Groupe Carbonneau, CANMEC, Groupe Lar Inc and CO7 Technologies - benefited from ESG diagnostics, summary GHG assessments, residual materials and supply risk analyses, as well as group workshops and individualized coaching.
