With the energy transition underway, the AIEQ wants to further increase the share of Quebec inputs in the electrical industry's supply chain, and build a network of Quebec partners who diversify their sources of supply and customers to contribute to the resilience of Quebec's supply chains.

AIEQ has made energy innovation a major lever in its strategy, serving its members and the transition to a low-carbon, electrified society. Quebec's electrical industry ecosystem has what it takes to become a world leader in energy innovation and a champion of AI and cybersecurity applications.
AIEQ aims to help the ecosystem transform innovative ideas into products or services that can be commercialized in the energy market. Our goal is to develop an innovation platform. Intended to be inclusive and collaborative, this platform would encourage the sharing of ideas and information between all companies and stakeholders. Its mandate is to bring together all those who wish to stimulate innovation. The goals of this platform are to connect the ecosystem to support innovation efforts, identify and support innovations with the best chances of success, and ultimately foster the commercial success of these innovations.
Fostering talent
With the current labor shortage plaguing our ecosystem, the AIEQ is keen to increase the sector's attractiveness and attract local and international students and workers to the industry. Thanks to the energy transition, efforts to decarbonize society and the many applications of AI and digitization, the jobs offered by Quebec's electrical industry will be the stuff of dreams.

The AIEQ carries out activities to support its members in their international business efforts. The Canadian, U.S. and international energy markets offer excellent business opportunities for many companies in Quebec's electrical industry.
Quebec's electrical industry ecosystem must take full advantage of the massive investments linked to the digital revolution, the electrification of transport and the creation of new industrial sectors such as green hydrogen and green chemistry. To help our members present their solutions to potential customers, the AIEQ is developing trade missions, participation in international trade shows and B2B business meetings.
