Press release - PASQÉ: First call for interest from Quebec manufacturers!
October 27, 2022 - The Association de l'industrie électrique du Québec (AIEQ) is pleased to announce that yesterday it launched its first call for interest in the PASQÉ initiative, Quebec's strategic procurement platform for the electrical industry.
PASQÉ will help strengthen the electrical industry's responsible and competitive supply chain, while promoting local economic spin-offs. This initiative offers financial support and strategic advice to companies wishing to diversify their offer and increase their capacity to serve the needs of public and private clients in Quebec's electrical industry.
"This first call for interest will enable us to qualify suppliers who will be able to meet the needs of our principals, thereby securing our supply chain. This is a tremendous opportunity for any manufacturer with the ambition of developing its capabilities and skills to offer a competitive alternative to foreign products. This will undoubtedly contribute to increasing the Quebec content of major principals," explained Marie Lapointe, President and CEO of the AIEQ.
Companies wishing to respond to this call for interest can do so until 5 p.m. on December 2.
The AIEQ would like to thank the PASQÉ steering committee, made up of the Ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation, Hydro-Québec and Investissement Québec.
