Launched in 1981 by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ), Les Mercuriades is now Quebec's most prestigious business competition. Every year, it celebrates the innovation, ambition, entrepreneurship and performance of local businesses, from SMEs to major corporations. The competition's winners and finalists are inspiring role models for the next generation of business leaders, and for the Quebec business community as a whole.
Over the years, the competition has adapted to economic realities and the natural evolution of the business world, and its reputation is well established. In order to maintain high standards of quality, the FCCQ revises the processes, categories, evaluation and eligibility criteria every year. This helps maintain the seriousness and rigor of the application process.
