Midi-Branché at Polytechnique Montréal - October 24  

On October 24, the AIEQ organized a Midi-Branché at Polytechnique Montréal to introduce future engineers to career opportunities in the electrical industry. Over 45 students attended the event, which highlighted the collaboration between three leading companies in the sector: Andritz, Ganotec and Marmen. Vincent Francou (Director of Engineering North America, ANDRITZ Hydro Canada), Marc-Antoine Chagnon (Regional Manager, GANOTEC) and Sébastien Roy-Gagnon (Vice-President - Machining and General Manufacturing, MARMEN) shared their experiences of cutting-edge industrial projects carried out in partnership, while presenting concrete job and internship opportunities available to graduates. This initiative is part of the AIEQ's efforts to ensure a qualified succession in a fast-growing sector.
