Mission économique et commerciale de la Francophonie - Workshop on business opportunities in green energy - June 11 

On June 11, 2024, as part of the Mission économique et commerciale de la Francophonie - Amérique du Nord, the AIEQ took part in a workshop dedicated to business opportunities in the green energy and energy transition sector, held at HEC Montréal. Moderated by Marie Lapointe, the workshop brought together stakeholders from Quebec, Canada and abroad for a rich dialogue on the development prospects for renewable energies and Quebec's leading role in this transition. Ms. Lapointe took the opportunity to present Hydro-Québec's Action Plan 2035 and the major thrusts of the Plan for a Green Economy 2030, which offer real levers for growth and collaboration with international partners. The workshop identified concrete avenues for partnerships in key sectors such as transportation electrification, bioenergies, energy performance in buildings and hydrogen storage.
