Quebec's expertise in electricity generation, transmission and distribution, as well as in energy efficiency, coupled with the presence of a vast ecosystem focused on cutting-edge solutions, represents a huge potential for technological innovation and development for Quebec. This is why the AIEQ is developing its "innovation" platform, which will bring together the major players in the electrical industry, stimulate innovation dedicated to the energy transition and facilitate their commercialization.

- 3rd digital forum on AI in energy systems in March 2024
- Diagnosis of the state of innovation in the Quebec electrical industry and potential for adoption of existing innovations
- First model markups
DELIVERABLES 2024-2025
- Develop a 4th digital energy systems forum in March 2024 with forums and the Quantum Zone
- Continued development of innovative models with Italy, Lyon and Portland
Objective 2 - Explore the benefits of dynamic, enhanced collaboration

- Collaboration with Propuslion Québec, Ecotech, la Vallée de la transition énergétique, HEC, AQTR, CNETE, InnovÉE, Hydrogène Québec, Concordia University and Institut Trottier
- Session on Hydro-Québec's needs on March 27, 2024 with engineering, certification and customer experience departments
DELIVERABLES 2024-2025
- Increase collaborative interfaces between our members and other organizations in order to showcase their innovations in infrastructure for transportation, buildings and industries.
- Continue to inform our members about projects and collaboration opportunities
- Incorporate an innovation index into company mapping
